Spanish scammers are still active!

In may 2019 we already warned you for the group of scammers we know for many years. They operate from the region of Pontevedra (Spain) and Maia (Portugal). We have also noticed that they have used several other addresses in Northern Spain. At this moment they are continuing to buy flowers in Colombia and keep contacting several farms and export companies to buy flowers. The names keep changing, in some cases they work with even used logos of famous flower farms from Colombia and Ecuador on their website as references, although most of these farms didn’t even do business with them.

But be careful, this is all a cover for a big scam. Luckily we have warned some of you and kept you out of damage, because they requested us for credit information, but we have received new information that in the last weeks again suppliers have been left with unpaid bills. No payments are being made and the contact persons disappeared.

We noticed that more and more companies in South America are becoming victims of doubtful debtors. It is better to spend a small amount of money for proper research to your client, than have a lot of damage afterwards.
